French railway reform bill to be adopted into law after Senate vote

French senators adopted on Thursday, by a large majority of 245 votes against 82, the reform of state-owned railway company SNCF, despite railway unions vowing to keep striking till the end of June. As Kate King reports, it ends workers' special employment rights and allows for competition from private passenger services.
